When you or a loved one needs help that only a physician can provide, you do not have many options for where to go. There is the hospital, your family doctor in some cases, and immediate medical care centers. When you need care IMMEDIATELY for a non-fatal injury, the emergency room can be a very long and arduous process. They are always packed full of sick and injured people, and odds are fair that you will not be treated quickly unless you are literally on the brink of death.
